Directions : Access from Downham Market bypass to Denver village & then to Denver Sluice. From A10 (K Lynn – Ely) road turn down Modney Bridge Road, signed Welney, Ten Mile Bank. Fishing on an east facing bank with adjacent road and easy access. Park by the river, hop over the bank and get catching, what could be better. Catch fish on all methods, feeding a necessity to attract shoals. Several carp caught in the last few seasons by specialist anglers, something else to try!
The EA have cleared the banks above the Engine drain returning the bank for anglers use, it was previously a very popular section before being overgrown with trees.
Fishing the reedy margins for that lurking pike, lures and wobbled baits a good way to explore a stretch if you are a predator angler.
