The site was developed in partnership with the RSPB who provided both help and finance.

The venture provides the RSPB with a car park and the Association with three lakes. Two owned by the Association, and one leased by the Association from The Sandringham Estate.

The area is such that if the fishing is not so good the wildlife can be enjoyed with Red Kites, Marsh Harriers, Kestrels and Barn Owls just some of the visitors.

Queens Lake for roach, carp and bream. Shepherds Lake for the same species plus rudd, tench, and chub. Bear Lake predominately a carp fishery. Roach, rudd and tench here, entertaining fishing on waggler or whip.
